Hello! Today I'm going to write about Ana Tijoux

Ana is a French-Chilean musician. She was born in French on 1977 (she has an autobiographical song called 1977) then traveled to Chile in 1983, and began her musical work in 1997 together whit her band Makiza, and then in 2007 she started her single career as hip hop composer and singer. Nevertheless, she often works with known musicians in live presentations, such as Andrés Celis in the keyboard, Dj Dacel in tornamesa, Max Reyes as drummer and Miguel Barriga in the bass guitar.

I like this singer because she makes urban music and tries to create messages for society. She reflects reality through of her music because every song speaks about problems or situations that are part of everyday life.

My favorite song is Shock. I like it because the lyrics criticize society and economic model. This protest song's musical video is focused in education, showing images of the protests of 2011 in Chile.
